Prosecution / Courts

Greenland Police Department subcontracts Atty. Michael F. DiCroce to act on our behalf as the Prosecutor at District or Family court.  Atty. DiCroce represents us in criminal hearings and trials, juvenile hearings, and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) hearings.  In the State of New Hampshire, it is legal fro any police officer to act as a Prosecutor on any criminal case.  GPD currently employs four (4) sworn officers that are trained to prosecute if needed.  Felony cases, on the contrary, are prosected by the Rockingham County Attorney's Office (RCAO) in Brentwood.  We work closely with County Attorney Pat Conway and the numerous Assistant County Attorneys on her staff.
