The first meeting of the month is usually reserved for a workshop meeting, where the planning board takes care of internal and ongoing projects. The second meeting of the month is usually where applicants come to discuss projects - which includes, but is not limited to, initial reviews, application acceptance and project acceptance. The town's Circuit Rider is available to meet with residents/applicants on Wednesday's 1:00 - 4:30 PM.
Rockingham Planning Commission

The meeting location varies from month-to-month, with each community active in the RPC generally hosting the meeting at some point.
The Rockingham Planning Commission is one of nine regional planning commissions in New Hampshire. The Commission's region consists of twenty-seven communities within Rockingham County. The RPC is not affiliated with Rockingham County. Operating as a non-profit local government organization, the Commission serves in an advisory role to local governments in order to promote coordinated planning, orderly growth, efficient land use, transportation access, and environmental protection. The Commission's professional planning staff provides an array of planning assistance to the 27 active member communities.
Greenland benefits from the RPC through the use of a circuit-rider and other staff members who help with build-out analysis, GIS mapping, Master Plan updating and ordinance drafting.
