ANNUAL TOWN WIDE YARD SALE!!
The 4th Annual Town Wide
Yard Sale is being held on Saturday, July 18, in conjunction with the Jason
Hussey Community Day. As in years past,
this is a fundraiser for the sponsoring organization, which changes each year. This year's sponsor is the Community Church
of Greenland. Proceeds this year will be
earmarked for the church's mission trip to the North Parish Housing Ministry
program in Farmington, Maine this summer.
The program offers housing repair and rehabilitation services to low
income families in rural Franklin and Somerset Counties, and several church
members will be participating.
Your donation of $20 will pay for
extensive advertising of your sale through all local newspapers, community
calendars and postings throughout the area.
There will also be a map of all properties holding yard sales printed
and available at the town hall during the previous week, as well as at other
Jason Hussey Day venues on that day.
This has become a very popular (and profitable) event for both sellers
and tag sale shoppers. Don't forget to tell your neighbors!!---the more
yard sales + shoppers, the better!
The cost to participate in the town
wide yard sale is $20. Please make
checks payable to Community Church of Greenland (note “Yard Sale” in the memo),
and send to P.O. Box 128, Greenland, NH
