TRANSPORTATION COSTS ARE INCREASING AT THE TRANSFER STATION FOR THE RECYCLING CONTAINERS - PLEASE HELP US GET AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE INTO THE CONTAINERS BY CRUSHING ALL PLASTIC JUGS AND BOTTLES, AND BREAKING DOWN CARDBOARD AND CEREAL BOXES .  WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT TREE DEBRIS GREATER THAN 3" IN DIAMETER AT THE TRANSFER STATION.


CITIZEN OF YEAR

    The Greenland Women’s Club selected Richard and Barbie Hazzard for co-citizen's of the year for 2011.  Dick was honored for his involvement in the community and church, with special note recognizing his 50 years with the volunteer fire department.  Barbie has been active in the Fire Auxilliary, Community Congregational Church and Seacoast Family Promise.

In an effort to reduce costs and conserve paper, the Annual Town Report has been posted on this website (Click above on the words "Town Report") with copies available at the Town Office in March. The 2011 Town Report will not be mailed to residents.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

When: Monday, May 30, at 10:00 A.M. Be a part of this year's Memorial Day Parade. Last year was great, but this year can be greater with your participation. Please complete the parade registration (linked below) and mail it by May 20, 2011.  Thank you.
